Energy is measured in units called Joules.

Joule is unit of work or energy in the International System of Units (SI) which is equal to the work done by a force of one newton acting through one metre.

1 Joule  =  10⁷ ergs or 0.7377 foot-pounds.

Simple covalent compounds are generally named by using prefixes metal name + nonmetal name + suffix –ide to indicate how many atoms of each element are shown in the formula. Time taken for travelling some distance at 55 kmph = 5 hrs

Then, 

Distance = Speed x Time = 55 x 5 = 275 kms.

Now, 

Speed of the bike before servicing = 35 kmph

Distance = 275 kms

Now, Time = Distance/Speed = 275/35 = 7.85 hrs =~ 8 hrs.
