In the early 1950s two scientists, Rosalind Franklin and Maurice Wilkins, studied DNA using x-rays. Franklin produced an x-ray photograph that allowed two other researchers, James Watson and Francis Crick to work out the 3D structure of DNA. The structure of DNA was found to be a double helix.

But in aqueous phase, the order is slightly different: 2'> 1'> 3' > NH3.

A cytoskeleton is the frame that gives shape to a cell. And also it offers support, and facilitates movement through three main components:

microfilaments,

intermediate filaments, and

microtubules.

The cytoskeleton helps the cell move in its environment and controls the movement of all of the cell's interior workings.
