Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) is a Pension Scheme announced by the Government of India exclusively for the senior citizens aged 60 years and above which is available from 4th May, 2017 to 31st March, 2020.

This is a simplified version of the VPBY and will be implemented by the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India.

The   Attorney   General   is   responsible   for   giving advice to the Government of India upon such legal matters  and  to  perform  such  other  duties  of  legal character as may be referred or assigned to him by the President. The  Attorney  General  for  India  is  appointed  by  the President   of   India   under   Article   76(1)   of   the Constitution  of  India  and  holds  office  during  the pleasure  of  the  President.  He  must  be  a  person qualified  to  be appointed  as  a  Judge  of  the Supreme Court. So, statement 4 is incorrect.
