Power Ministry constitutes a Committee to investigate into the causes of the NTPC, Unchahar Thermal Power Plant accident

Histones are highly alkaline proteins found in eukaryotic cell nucleusthat package and order the DNA into structural units called nucleosomes. They are the chief protein components of chromatin, acting as spools around which DNA winds, and playrole in gene regulation.

A writ of certiorari is issued to quash the order passed by an inferior court or tribunal in excess of jurisdiction.

A writ of prohibition is issued to prevent an inferior court or tribunal to go ahead with the trial of a case in which it has assumed excess of jurisdiction.

Jammu and Kashmir Rifles is an infantry regiment of the Indian Army. It is a truly historic Indian Regiment raised by Maharaja Gulab Singh, the founder of the Dogra Kingdom in 1820. Amongst all the princely State Forces of India, it was the only one to be absorbed into the Indian Army as a separate Regiment and did not lose its entity by merger into the existing Regiments of the Army.
