Airtel Payments Bank is the first payment bank in India. A payments bank is a new category of banks conceptualized by the Reserve Bank of India, which operates at a smaller scale than an actual bank and doesn't involve any credit risk. It can carry out most banking operations but can't advance loans or issue credit cards.

The RBI as of date has given licences to 11 payments bank of which six are currently operational. These include

2. Airtel Payments Bank,
3. India Post Payments Bank,
4. Fino Payments Bank,
5. Jio Payments Bank (and)
6. Paytm Payments Bank.

Furthermore, poets and philosophers concerned themselves with the natural world, rather than theology. One reason for the scholarship in Italy is the fact that Greek scholars emigrated to Italy after the invasion of the Ottoman Turks who captured Constantinople. These scholars brought with them classical texts and manuscripts, which helped to revive interest in classical learning and arts.

Along with the Greek scholars, Italian scholar Petrarch is felt to be a major impetus to the rebirth of culture and learning. Having a passionate interest in the rediscovery of lost Roman manuscripts and a strong belief in the power of ancient thought to civilize, his ideas certainly complemented those who valued classical learning.
