n(S) = 20
n(Even no) = 10 = n(E)
n(Prime no) = 8 = n(P)
P(E U P) = 10/20 + 8/20 - 1/20 = 17/20

Given the ratio of efficiencies of P, Q & R are 3 : 8 : 5

Let the efficiencies of P, Q & R be 3x, 8x and 5x respectively

They can do work for 12 days.

New speed = 12/7kmph

Now he rests 10 hrs a day that means he walks 14 hrs a day.

time = 840 x 7 /12 => 490 hrs
=> 490/14 = 35 days

So he will take 35 days to cover 840 km.

Here in the above given question, the mistake is "the is reapeated twice" before mistake.

By hit and trail, we find that
