"The moon smiled at me" is the example of personification in the given options.

Personification is a technique in which we give objects human traits like emotions, gestures, speech,... by using metaphor. 

Here moon is an object which cannot smile but using metaphor sense, we gave that sense to it.

From solving 1 and 2 we get,

5a(a-3)-3(a-3) = 0

(5a-3)(a-3) = 0

a = 3 or 3/5

3b(b+2)-1(b+2) = 0

b = -2 or b = 1/3

Here when a = 3, a > b for b = -2 and b = 1/3

when a = 3/5. a > b for b = -2 and b = 1/3.

Hence, it is clear that a > b.

For the same journey if the speed increased 10 kmph more it will take 1 hour less

Time with original speed - time with increased speed = 1

 => (360/x) - (360/x+10) =  1                               

 =>  (360(x+5)-360x)/x(x+5) =1

 =>   360X + 1800 -360X  = X(X+5)

  =>   X^2 + 5x - 1800 = 0

  X = 40 or -45
