Given Karthik’s age = 32 years

Karthik’s son age = 7 years

Difference between their ages = K - S = 32 - 7 = 25 years ….(1)

Now, required K = 2S ……(2)

Put (2) in (1)

2S - S = 25

=> S = 25 years

Hence, at the age of 25 years of Karthik’s son, Karthik will be twice as his son’s age.

25 - 7 = 18 years

Therefore, after 18 years the father be twice as old as the son.

If the Multiples for two or more numbers which are Common, then those Multiples are said to be Common Multiples. 

For Example :

Multiples of 3 are 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30,...

Multiples of 5 are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30,...

Here common multiples of 3 & 5 upto 30 are 15, 30.

Firstly, I focussed on "If you remove my 1st & 2nd letters, you can't see me". The first thing that comes to mind which we can’t see is the "AIR".

So now, what 4 letter words can be formed ending with "AIR"? Think of all the words from A to Z, considering which one lies above you. That is how we get to "HAIR".

Now, which 5 letter word can be formed ending with "HAIR"? Starting with A to Z, we reach "CHAIR" and also, it lies below us.

And the required answer is "CHAIR".

Using Both 1 & 2 statements we get the rate of interest as in (1) we have given principle amount and in (2) compound interest for 2 years. By this data we get the rate%.

Using Both 1 & 3 statements we can get the rate% as we have principle amount & difference between compound interest and simple interest in 2 years.

Using Both 2 & 3 statements we get compound interest & simple interest by which we get principle amount. So that we can calculate %rate.

Hence by using any two of the three statements(1,2&3) we get rate of interest.
