There are 60 minutes in an hour.

In ¾ of an hour there are (60 × ¾) minutes = 45 minutes.

In ¾ of an hour there are (60 × 45) seconds = 2700 seconds.

Siren sounds for every 5 seconds.

In 2700 seconds = 2700/5 = 540 times.

The count start after the first sound, the Siren will sound 541 times in ¾ of an hour.

Given G + B= 41 and B = G-1
Hence, G = 21 and B = 20

Given that to find 15 of 80

=> What % of 80 is 15

Let it be 'p'

=> p% of 80 = 15

=> $$\begin{gathered} p x 80100 = 15 \\ ⇒p = 15 x 10080 \\ ⇒p = 150080 = 18.75 \end{gathered}$$

Therefore, 15 is 18.75% of 80 => 18.75% of 80 = 15

Example::

Now, in the similar way we can find 15% of 80 =?

=> 15x80/100 = p

=> p = 4 x 3 = 12

Therefore, 15% of 80 = 12

Given two lines are parallel

pa+b=2

b=-pa+2..........(1)

3a+b=4

b=-3a+4 ...........(2)

m₁ = -p

m₂= -3

The condition for the two lines to be parallel is m₁=m₂

p = 3

Let the cost price of the article be 'P'

Then from given data,

$$\begin{gathered} P + 28P100 = 4544 \\ => 128P = 454400 \\ => P = 3550 \end{gathered}$$

Hence, the cost price of the article = P = Rs. 3550

In the given puzzle,

The logic is in the format of lets say, a/b

In that case b doesn't matter, because

2/2 = 1,

6/5 = 6/2 = 3,

10/11 = 10/2 = 5

This means that equation is a/2

So 16/19 is equal 16/2 = 8.
