As you were asleep, none of the things could have happened without doing "open your eyes" first.

Given Dileep and Narender started a business.

Dileep invested 8000 for 12 months

Let Narender invested 'p' for 6 months

At the end of the year, their profit ratio is 1 : 1.

Hence,

8000 x 12 : p x 6

p : 16000

p/16000 = 1/1

=> p = 16,000

Hence, Narender invested amount is Rs. 16,000.

When traveling in a vacuum, electronic waves from the electromagnetic spectrum all travel at the same speed. Velocity is speed with direction, so they would all travel at the same velocity, realtively speaking. But frequency and wavelength are quite different.

We know 60 min = 1 hr
Total northward Laxmi's distance = 20kmph x 1hr = 20 km
Total southward Prasanna's distance = 30kmph x 1hr = 30 km
Total distance between Prasanna and Laxmi is = 20 + 30 = 50 km.

7   10   3  --> 7+3 =10

6   8     2  --> 6+2 =8

x   10   1  --> x+1 =10

Here we can observe that by adding 1st and 3rd column elements we get 2nd column elements

 --> x = 9

Let the required number be 'X'

Condition 1 :  

$$\begin{gathered} XX = 2X \\ => 2X2 = X \\ => X = 12 \end{gathered}$$

Condition 2 :

$$\begin{gathered} X × X = X2 \\ => X = 12 \end{gathered}$$

Therefore, 12 is the number which becomes double when it is divided by itself and becomes half when it is multiplied by itself.
