After 10 days, the remaining food would be sufficient for the 1000 students for 20 more days

-->If 1000 more students are added, it shall be sufficient for only 10 days (as the no. of students is doubled, the days are halved).

Let Siya's age = x

Then Riya's age = 4x

But given Riya's age = 24

=> 4x = 24 => x = 6

Hence Siya's age = 6 yrs

=> The age difference = 24 - 6 = 18 yrs.

18 tens 20 ones, the given stateent can be split into

18 tens = 18 x 10 = 180

20 ones = 20 x 1 = 20

Then add both => 180 + 20 = 200

Hence, 18 tens 20 ones = 200.

Let Price be Rs.100

1st CASE:

Then 100 x 70/100 = 70
=> price after discount = 100-70 = Rs.30

2nd CASE:

Then 100 x 40/100 = 40
=> price after discount = 100-40 = Rs.60
then
60 x 30/100 = 18
