It is useful to have a property of a material that is independent of the size of the sample and can be use to compare its elastic properties with another - this is called the Modulus of Elasticity for the material.

The modulus of elasticity is defined as:

Modulus of elasticity = Stress / Strain

There are three types of moduli. They are :

(a) the Young Modulus - tensile and compression longitudinal stress

(b) the shear modulus - a shearing stress

(c) the bulk modulus - volume changes of the specimen.

In a computer, the area where the data is stored for the quick access by the computer's processor is called Main storage or Primary storage or Memory or RAM.

Hence, main storage is also called Memory.

Share of C = 1530

Share of B = 765

Share of A = 1020

Let the first number be x and the second number be y.

Given

5% of x = (25% of y) + y

=> 5x/100 = 5y/4

=> x = 25y ......(1)

and also given that, x - y = 96

=> x = 96 + y .....(2)

From (1)&(2)

25y = 96 + y

=> 24y = 96

=> y = 4

From (1)

x = 96 + 4 = 100

Hence, the numbers are 100 & 4.

Given the price of a commodity is decreased by  p = 20%

And its consumption is increased by q = 10%

Now, required increase or decrease in the expenditure on the commodity can be 

p + q + pq/100 = -20 + 10 - 200/100 = -10 - 2 = -12%.

Hence, decrease in the expenditure = 12%

The series rtus/rtus/rtus/rtus. Thus, the pattern 'rtus' is repeated.

From the given data,

The part of honey in the first mixture = 1/4

The part of honey in the second mixture = 3/4

Let the part of honey in the third mixture = x

Then,

1/4             3/4

           x

(3/4)-x     x-(1/4) 

Given from mixtures 1 & 2 the ratio of mixture taken out is 2 : 3

=> 34-xx-14=23

=> Solving we get the part of honey in the third mixture as 11/20

=> the remaining part of the mixture is water = 9/20

Hence, the ratio of the mixture of honey and water in the third mixture is 11 : 9 .
