The New Jersey Plan was one option as to how the United States would be governed.

The Plan called for each state to have one vote in Congress instead of the number of votes being based on population. Hence, it is called as a small state plan also.

It was introduced to the Constitutional Convention by William Paterson. So, it is also called as the Paterson plan.

As much as 99.3 per cent of the junked Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes have returned to the banking system, the RBI said today, indicating that just a miniscule percentage of currency was left out of the system after the government's unprecedented note ban aimed at curbing black money and corruption.
