The White Revolution in India, also known as Operation Flood.
It was a plan of three phases by the National Dairy Development Board to revitalise India's dairy production until India became self-sufficient in milk.
The program was so successful that by 1998, India was the world's largest milk producer.
India played its first One Day International (ODI) match in cricket in the year 1974. It played against England team in Headingley in Leeds. Ajit Laxman Wadekar led the Indian cricket team as the first ODI captain.
