The famous Rock Garden which is also known as Nek Chand's Rock Garden after its founder Nek Chand, a government official who started the garden secretly in his spare time in 1957 is in the city Chandigarh.

Let the amounts to be received by P, Q and R be p, q and r.
p + q + r = 1200
p = 1/2 (q + r) => 2p = q + r

Adding 'p' both sides, 3p = p + q + r = 1200
=> p = Rs.400

q = 1/3 (p + r) => 3q = p + r

Adding 'q' both sides, 4q = p + q + r = 1200
=> q = Rs.300

r = 1200 - (p + q) => r = Rs.500.

Therefore instead of getting C213 points, we get only one point A. Similarly 11 straight lines out of the given 37 straight lines intersect at point B. Therefore instead of getting C211 points, we get only one point B.

 Hence the number of intersection points of the lines is C237-C213-C211 +2 = 535
