The Ezra Cup is a popular polo tournament conducted annually in India. The Calcutta Polo Club runs this oldest and first ever Polo Trophy. The first Ezra Cup was held in 1880. After a period of inactivity, it has now been revived by Mr. Keshav Bangur, Calcutta Polo Club's president.

The mathematical formula for calculating compound interest depends on several factors. These factors include the amount of money deposited called the principal, the annual interest rate (in decimal form), the number of times the money is compounded per year, and the number of years the money is left in the bank.

FV = Future value of the Deposit

p = Principal or Amount of Money deposited

r = Annual Interest Rate (in decimal form )

n = No of times compounded per year

t = time in years

FV=40001+0.0644(5)= 5387.42

Let the numbers be 3x, 3x + 3 and 3x + 6.
Then,
3x + (3x + 3) + (3x + 6) = 72
9x = 63
x = 7
Largest number = 3x + 6 = 27.

=> Second largest number = 27 - 3 = 24

If we count letters till the end of the alphabet including that letter in reverse order then
Here the values are nothing but the values corresponding to the alphabets when taken in a reverse order,i.e,A=26 ,B=25...,Z=1
G = 20 and O = 12 totaling 32
S = 8, H = 19 and E = 22 totaling 49

So
SOME = 8 + 12 + 14 + 22 = 56.

The usual way to find the compound interest is given by the formula A = .p(1+r/100)^n

In this formula,

A is the amount at the end of the period of investment

P is the principal that is invested

r is the rate of interest in % p.a

And n is the number of years for which the principal has been invested.

In this case, it would turn out to be A =1500(1+20/100)^3

= 2592.
