A modem is nothing but short for Modulator and Demodulator. It is used mostly for connecting to the internet.

A modem is a device or program that enables a computer to transmit data over, for example, telephone or cable lines. Computer information is stored digitally, whereas information transmitted over telephone lines is transmitted in the form of analog waves.

The GST Council on Nov 10th 2017 cut tax rates of over 175 products that were in the highest tax slab of 28% under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime.

But if you're switching careers or trying something a little different, your experience may initially not look like it's matching up. People skills are people skills after all, you just need to show how customer service skills can apply to interrnal management positions, and so on.
