Puttingal Temple was a Hindu temple in the coastal town of Paravur, India. The temple was founded after the presence of the goddess was experienced on an ant hill with Puttu being the Malayalam word for ant Hill.
Charminar was built at the center of the Hyderabad city in Telangana state, to commemorate the eradication of Plague by Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah in early 1500's.
