2.5 × 1 + 1 = 3.5

3.5 × 2 + 2 = 9

9 × 4 + 4 = 40

40 × 8 + 8 = 328

Let the total profit be Rs. x. Then, B = 2x/7 and A = (x - 2x /7) =  5x / 7.

So, A : B = 5x/7 : 2x/7 = 5 : 2.

now Bram's good is cheaper than Shyam's as (100-60)x100/100% or 40%.
