What is the theme of the ‘World Wetlands Day 2021’?

 

Engineer's Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya in the memory of his contributions in engineering. Every year on his birthday i.e, on September 15 National Engineers Day is celebrated all over the country.

International Day for Disaster Reduction, held every 13 October, celebrates how people and communities around the world are reducing their exposure to disasters.

The year 2017 focus is : Reducing the number of affected people by disasters by 2030.
